SOUL ASYLUM

"A friend asked me what kind of records I want to make, and my answer was that I always want to make a record that I want to hear that's not already in my record collection," says Dave Pirner. "I think we got that on this one." Pirner is referring to Change of Fortune, Soul Asylum's eleventh studio album, and its first for Entertainment One Music (eOne Music).

HAR MAR SUPERSTAR

Sean Tillmann has been making records under the name "Har Mar Superstar" since 1999. Under the Har Mar moniker, Sean has gone through a plethora of phases, ranging from fun-loving, beats-based music pioneer (he and Peaches shared stages early on) to angry arena crowd opener (a 2002 public lewdness allegation proves it) to soul music crooner. His last album Bye Bye 17opened a lot of people’s minds to his songwriting prowess, which has existed since day one of his career.

SPECIAL GUESTS:

BRUISE VIOLET

Bruise Violet is a young grunge punk band, made up of the members Emily, Bella, and Danielle. Deriving their sound from the roots of the Riot Grrrl movement, the girls are loud and angry, while wearing dresses and looking as feminine as possible on stage. They add their own twist with three part harmonies on top of the loud riffs playing. It's like Broadway meets Bikini Kill.
