"We can now all easily carry our gear for over a mile at a time without whining about it."

The east side of Austin is sort of the hip place now. The Third Man Records Party was so hip it was east of the east side of Austin at a place where there is no official address! (Addresses are so 2014. Get with 2015, losers! Just kidding. I don't care what you do, which is very 2012 of me, I'll admit.) So you may be picturing a place where the jeans are so tight they absorb into the skin, and people walk around seemingly naked, but with a denim tinge to them. Not so. The Museum of Human Achievement is simply a laid back art space in a highly vegetated area. It has a venue on one side and a popup Third Man store on the other. Great bands, great food, great fans, and even a friendly sound guy.

Later, we played Beerland, a place we normally play when stopping in Austin on our normal tours. Our 7th show of this festival. We can now all easily carry our gear for over a mile at a time without whining about it.
