SKSW Guest Blog: The Blind Shake pt.4

Mar 17, 2014

"bar owner got on the PA and begged everyone to "please stop playing, especially those who work for me."

When we showed up at Beerland for the 20+ band hangover party, all of the litter was gone and most of the garbage went back to the suburbs. What remained were a bunch of punk and garage bands and local folks who came out of hiding now that they got their town back. This show was our most packed of the festival and the most fun. Although two of us don't drink, enough beer was dumped on us to get our skin totally wasted. Sorry if my epidermis offended you in any way.

Our friends The Dikes of Holland gave the perfect ending to a reasonable festival when they handed out their instruments, forced everyone on stage and let fans jam out until the bar owner got on the PA and begged everyone to "please stop playing, especially those who work for me."
