Theme Thursday!

Jan 30, 2014

We took a page from Justin Bieber's book today and made our Theme Thursday be all about jail.

Today was Theme Thursday on Rock and Roll Over, and Abe and I were mulling over what we wanted the theme to be for a long time. We had some great ideas, but we figured that we could use them more efficiently later, so we decided to comb the news for some inspiration.

Comb The Desert

We saw that the “great” Justin Beiber was taken into custody for a second time and we immediately knew our theme for the week: Prison. We played several songs that had to do with being in jail or about a certain jail, like “I Got Stripes by Johnny Cash, or “Jailhouse Rock” by Elvis. It was great being able to showcase some of the greater old hits about prison that we grew up listening to.
