New Zealand natives Popstrangers have been hard at work since their 2013 debut, Antipodes. On their latest LP, Fortuna, the band's refined sense of melody is on full display, as they trade in their prior grungier instincts for a more developed psych-leaning lilt, balanced by a healthy dose of pop buoyancy. For example, lead single "Country Kills" is quick to build to its infectious chorus for a fully hypnotic effect, singing "My country will kill me now, but whatever." Check it out below!
