InsincereNov - 28 - 13
Today's track is "Insincere" by The Can't Tells. This song rocks, but it rocks softly. It knows how to restrain itself and make you want it to rock your face off. That's real talent folks. If you don't hit this track up then you can't tell (heh) how great it is. I'm not being insincere when I say it's great (double heh).
Once BranchesNov - 27 - 13
Local Minneapolis duo Har-di-Har bring you "Once Branches," a song that has it all. Rhythmic beats? Check. Sweet bass line? Check. Pretty, harmonized vocals? Check. Instrumentation that sounds like the inside of a musical spaceship sent to Earth solely to deliver dope music? Triple check. Give it a listen!
KrishnaagainNov - 26 - 13
It's no secret that we love local music here at Radio K, and it doesn't get much more local than this. Human Kindness is a freshly-formed band made up of UMN students, and they aren't pulling any punches. Their first single Krishnaagain boils and growls with that familiar garage rock sound, proving that though they may be new, they're worth keeping an eye on.
Rabbit HoleNov - 25 - 13
Start your week off right with Portland-based The Lower 48's track, "Rabbit Hole." Fresh off of their new self-titled record, this track is no slouch from a band who describes their style as 60's pop-rock and roll. Mixing horns, guitars, awesome harmonies, and a supremely catchy melody, this song is sure to give you a boost to get through those last few days of class before that elusive Thanksgiving break!
