BLINDS

Some Thing for No Thing is the second EP release from Minneapolis natives blinds. The record was a hands-on homage to the lo-fi nature of the early 90’s grunge scene all while using modern influences from Kings of Leon to Interpol.

After a successful debut EP release in December 2015 (covered by The Current and City Pages), blinds used their momentum to play several summer festivals, tour the midwest, and record a follow up EP. Their latest record, Some Thing for No Thing, debuted January 24, 2017. The first single, “Pretend Life” premiered on The Current Local Show.

4TH CURTIS

4th Curtis is St. Paul’s premier all-trans indie pop band. Originally the solo project of singer/songwriter Lex Noens, it has since expanded to include Maddie Morley (drums) and Ty Gale (keys/vocals). Since the full band got together in late 2015, they’ve attracted a tight-knit following drawn to their experimentally glamorous tunes and an insatiable need to broadcast their transness to the greater Twin Cities area. Keep an eye out - they’re lying in wait to seduce your ears and grub for your money.

DOUBLE GRAVE

Double Grave is a trio who most often play earnest, loud rock somewhere in the gloomy pop world of punk and grunge, while occasionally exploring things like shoegaze, art-folk, or slowcore. Forming in Minneapolis late 2014, this sincere and powerful band self released several tape EPs leading up to their 2017 LP New Year's Daydream, out on Sad Cactus Records. With their varied catalogue and diligent performing schedule, Double Grave has been marked as one of the midwest's most promising DIY bands today.
