PERFORMER:

FRANCE CAMP

When the beloved Minneapolis band Nice Purse tragically ceased to be, a smoking hole was left where the bombastic group once stood tall. Fortunately for the humans of the universe, lead man France Camp decided to continue writing and releasing his own brand of surf punk under his assumed name - along with James Wolfeatens, Dylan Rose and Kyle Kimm - to equally awesome returns.

SPECIAL GUESTS:

NEW PRIMALS

New Primals are a four piece noise rock/dance punk band from Minneapolis, MN that consists of Sam Frederick (guitar/vox), Eric Nordling (bass/samples), Andrew Kurtz (drums), and Preston Laack (baritone guitar). New Primals began in June of 2016 when Andrew (of Wage Theft) and Eric (of Swimsuit Area/CONGORATS) started writing music together. They were joined shortly after by Sam (of Burn Fetish/Chalk) and Preston (of Burn Fetish/New Wave Hookers) to finalize their sound.

DOUBLE GRAVE

Double Grave is a trio who most often play earnest, loud rock somewhere in the gloomy pop world of punk and grunge, while occasionally exploring things like shoegaze, art-folk, or slowcore. Forming in Minneapolis late 2014, this sincere and powerful band self released several tape EPs leading up to their 2017 LP New Year's Daydream, out on Sad Cactus Records. With their varied catalogue and diligent performing schedule, Double Grave has been marked as one of the midwest's most promising DIY bands today.

PRIM WOES

Prim Woes is tough but tender, a soft embrace and a hard slap, sunshiney folk songs with an unexpected edge. Established in 2018, this genre bending trio is comprised of Shelby Lano (synths, vocals) aka Queerie Bradshaw, Jay Simonson (lead guitar, vocals) lead singer of psych rock band France Camp, and Elise Pfau (guitar, vocals), formerly of Nice Purse along with Simonson. Come for the embrace of their gentle layered coos and stay for their strong melodies, clever lyrics, and dreamy synths.
