Forming after years of making music in the Midwest, the group's love for punchy pop, old-school rock and roll, sensitive folk, and the beat of hip hop brought their debut album Stargazer to a unique sound with relatable lyrics and a sincere heartbeat. With elements of synth pop, bubble guitars, and catchy vocals the group's top priority is to give permission to the audience to have fun. "It’s fun and carefree. It’s our job to provide people who work everyday jobs, or who are swamped with homework and life with an opportunity to let go and smile, maybe for the first time in a long time. We don’t take that lightly.
Early Eyes became a band on October 3, 2016, as a temporary pop-up ensemble, garnering a sizable local following almost instantly. Drawing from all sorts of musical backgrounds, their songwriting abilities were worthy of winning The National Endowment of The Arts Songwriting Challenge.
Last Import is an energetic, melodic, surf-punk trio based out of Minneapolis, MN. The band started off as a teen collaboration in 2014 at She Rock She Rock. Flash forward to 2017 to members also daylighting as full-time college students. Featuring Emily Bjorke (guitar, lead vocals), Grace Baldwin (bass, backing vocals), and Jane Halldorson (drums), the band released their first official EP, titled Songs for Adam, on January 25, 2018.
