props to Ross for covering the first part of today's show. He always adds such a flare. My wonderful volunteer pascal who brings in the most awesome music I have ever heard every week (A TON OF VINYL) will be a trained DJ very shortly and be a cohost! Whenever you hear someone in the background correcting my prononciation, it is him :)
We are also going to start doing themed shows. Next weeks theme will be brazilian music. If you have a suggestion for a theme or a country, email marketing@radiok.org and I will try to put it together!
He was telling me about this label that releases & rereleases some really cool obscure international artists (and artists in general). Its called Mississippi Records and I've included a link below if you are interested in checking it out! The album we played today entitled "Brass Heads and Match Heads "was released by them.
