A Collection of Bird Songs by Acre Memos

Eric Adams’s musical project, Acre Memos, has released its second album, A Collection of Bird Songs. Adams describes the project as a song tribute to the piney woods of Silsbee, Texas. It really digs into a sweet warm indie-folk sound, kind of like a hug. Lomelda, the singer-songwriter Hanah Reed, also features throughout the album. “Blue Bottle Snuff Jar” is such a calming song. Its shimmering guitar accompanied with steady drums really lull you into a dream. The song “Hair Ties” incorporates a resonant organ melody that is just so good, alongside some tasteful piano.
